After a 15 year search throughout North America for a location to set up their forty year personal collection of mechanical music, David, Lesley & Michael Evans of the UK were encouraged by an Immigration Representative to consider British Columbia. While touring southern BC, a visit to Revelstoke sealed their fate. They instantly fell in love with the obviously pleasant community rich in class and character, indeed the perfect setting for their collection.
Ideally situated in downtown Revelstoke in a 1911 heritage building, the museum allows the Evans family to share the wonder of the magical world of music from yesteryear and gives them an opportunity to meet visitors from all over the world who truly appreciate the Nickelodeon experience.
Canada's only mechanical music museum, enjoy a one hour guided demonstration tour of Victorian musical boxes, player pianos, player reed and pipe organs, jukeboxes, phonographs, musical clocks, magic lanterns and so much more!
