Noticing the West Kootenay area was under-serviced in terms of movie theaters, Colin May made a decision to invest in the area. Castlegar was the perfect choice for this business venture due to its central location. Now movie-goers come from Trail, Rossland, the Slocan Valley, Nelson and surrounding areas to access a variety of movie choices. Still living in Saskatchewan, Mr. May found the City of Castlegar to be very accommodating in terms of pulling various aspects of the investment venture together.
